Pre-Sales Engineer

Pre-Sales Engineer at Commencis works with leading brands to create purposeful digital solutions by understanding the market, analyzing user needs and using data-driven insights. Pre-Sales Engineer elicits business needs collaboratively with the customer, account & sales teams and product teams; manages all product requirements from definition and modelling to customer proposal and hand-off to product, engineering and PMO teams. Senior Pre-Sales Analyst also works with the Sales and Pre-Sales leadership to identify gaps in the market to build and position Commencis services. 

As a member of pre-sales team, Pre-Sales Engineer is expected to have excellent communication and analytical skills to deliver the highest value to the customer and user. They should be able to find the unmet customer need and create solutions for customers and Commencis. If you feel comfortable with these responsibilities, we would love to see you on board.

• Realize customer opportunities and pain points and translate them into detailed product requirements and project estimations
• Conduct product requirement meetings with customer and engineering teams to develop optimal solutions 
• Work with the Sales and Pre-Sales leadership to identify gaps in the market to build and position Commencis services 
• Support the sales team during customer meetings, RFP responses, and proposal presentations 
• Provide technical presentations and product demos tailored to customer expectations 
• Address technical questions or objections during the sales cycle 
• Work closely with Product, Delivery, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate handover from sales process to implementation process 
• Use the CRM system, and ensure the CRM data is accurate and regularly updated for management reporting and forecasting 

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project delivery models (Agile, Scrum) 
• Experience preparing effort estimations, RFP/RFI responses, and technical documentation 
• Experience working closely with sales, account management, and delivery teams 
• Comfortable presenting to executives and technical audiences 
• Strong presentation skills with tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, or Figma 
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple pre-sales opportunities in parallel 
• Collaborative mindset and able to work across departments and with different stakeholders 
• Solution-oriented thinking and excellent communication skills 
• Self-starter and self-disciplined 
• Fluency in English and Turkish
