About the team
We are GitLab's Seat Management team within the Fulfillment group, and we focus on enabling customers to optimize their GitLab investment through intuitive seat assignment, proactive cost management, and seamless enterprise user provisioning. We own key initiatives that span seat management, cost control, and user lifecycle management, including integrating with enterprise identity systems (SCIM, SAML, LDAP), implementing cost management features like Restricted Access, and providing comprehensive seat utilization visibility across GitLab.com, GitLab Dedicated, and self-managed instances. We operate fully remotely and collaborate asynchronously across multiple regions, leveraging GitLab's values of transparency and open communication. We face the challenge of scaling our seat management infrastructure while maintaining reliability, security, and compliance, all while helping customers eliminate billing surprises and reduce administrative overhead. For more on how we work, see the Fulfillment and Seat Management sections of the GitLab handbook.
Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; many successful candidates do not meet every single requirement. Additionally, studies have shown that people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to a job unless they meet every single qualification. If you're excited about this role, please apply and allow our recruiters to assess your application.
