Who You Are:

Getty Images is seeking a Creative Development Manager to join our Asia/Pacific team. Based in Thailand, you’ll play a key role in growing and engaging our local creator community while shaping content in alignment with Getty Images’ global creative strategy.

You have a strong creative vision and deep experience in photography, videography, and content production. Bilingual in Thai and English, you're an excellent communicator with a collaborative spirit and a passion for visual storytelling. You’re skilled at identifying talent, providing creative direction, and guiding content from concept through execution. You care deeply about Diversity & Inclusion and bring that lens to the work you do.

An organized and self-starter, you can independently manage multiple projects while fostering a collaborative creator community. This role reports to the Director of Creative, Asia/Pacific (based in Australia), and will work cross-functionally with Creative Insights, Contributor Relations, Custom Content, Creator Engagement, Marketing, PR, and Sales.

Your Next Challenge:
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with photographers, videographers, and illustrators to inspire and produce high-end regional commercial content.
  • Communicate creative content needs and provide direction to creators via email, Discord, and Zoom, guiding them from concept to execution.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new content ideas. Having a keen sense of experimental ideas to create differentiated content.
  • Oversee multiple projects from planning to delivery, ensuring timely completion.
  • Provide feedback to creators to enhance their skills and ensure content quality on a 1-to-1 basis.
  • Curate, edit and review creative assets to meet differentiation standards and customer needs.
  • Offer feedback and support to regional contributors, enhancing their shoots and art direction.
  • Promote and showcase creative work internally and externally both verbally and written.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team on community matters and industry trends.
  • Write briefs to communicate the content needs specific to Asia/Pacific.
  • Organize annual regional events and monthly webinars for creator engagement and education.
  • Support sales and marketing with presentations on local content.
  • Partner with Contributor Relations and Creator Engagement teams for community support and material translation.
  • Engage daily with the Asia/Pacific community through Discord.
  • Identify and recruit new talent within Asia/Pacific through contributor portfolios and externally.
  • Analyze data and insights to inform and guide the briefs you write, to ensure it aligns with your research.


What You'll Need:
  • Relevant degree in visual/creative media.
  • Expertise in both photography and videography. Video knowledge a must.
  • Highly experienced in photo and video production, art direction and shoot management.
  • 5+ years visual communications, advertising or production experience.
  • Strong creative vision and ability to create compelling content.
  • Proven people management skills.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Additional Mainland/Southeast Asian speaking is an advantage.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and inspiring creators.
  • Experience in negotiation, relationship building, and community management.
  • Knowledgeable about the visual market and content creation. Confident to highlight current/emerging trends and share inspiration with a globally distributed team.
  • Proficient in PC/MAC, MS Office, project management tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to independently manage projects from ideation to delivery.
  • Proactive in sharing ideas and solutions.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies.
  • Able to think strategically.
