About the Role

We’re looking for a Client Finance Associate to join our Outsourced Finance Division — someone who thrives on solving problems, getting things done, and keeping clients’ fi nance operations running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our senior fi nance team to manage the day-to-day bookkeeping, supplier payments, and fi nancial administration for a portfolio of dynamic UK businesses.

This role is perfect for someone with an eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and at least 3 years’ hands-on experience in Xero and Dext. You’ll be managing client inboxes, reconciling accounts, ensuring accuracy across all ledgers, and helping resolve queries before they become issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients in Xero, ensuring transactions are accurately coded and reconciled.
  • Maintain supplier and customer ledgers, following up on queries and discrepancies with professionalism and persistence.
  • Process supplier invoices using Dext, ensuring all documentation is clear, complete, and matched to supporting evidence.
  • Oversee and prioritise client fi nance inboxes, handling communications effi ciently and maintaining an organised workfl ow.
  • Support the preparation of weekly or monthly management accounts by maintaining accurate data and commentary.
  • Assist with supplier payment run preparation, ensuring all items are approved and ready for timely processing.
  • Collaborate with managers and senior accountants to troubleshoot system or process issues.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client processes, fl agging risks or ineffi ciencies early.
  • Uphold our standards for accuracy, communication, and client service — no corners cut, ever.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience using Xero in a client-facing or outsourced fi nance environment.
  • Proven experience with Dext for invoice capture and expense management.
  • Strong email and task management skills — you know how to prioritise, fl ag, and stay on top of multiple client inboxes.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with a relentless energy to fi nd solutions and get to the root cause of issues.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Clear and confi dent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Team player with a willingness to learn, support others, and continually improve.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience preparing management accounts or supporting month-end close.
  • Familiarity with supplier payment platforms (e.g. Telleroo, Modulr).
  • Understanding of UK VAT and bookkeeping best practices.

Work Schedule:
Mid shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM PH time)
